CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT ADAM J. VIZI

Chief Master Sergeant Adam J. Vizi is the Command Chief of the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. Chief Vizi leads the wing's enlisted force and serves as the primary advisor to the commander on matters concerning the morale, welfare, war-fighting effectiveness, operational utilization and professional development for more than 3,100 enlisted Airmen who support the largest B-1 combat wing in the U.S. Air Force.

Chief Vizi is from Youngstown, Ohio and entered the Air Force in August 1994. His background includes various duties as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) at the unit and major command levels. Chief Vizi is a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Weapons Officer, Instructor and Evaluator. His assignments include U.S. Army forts and bases around the globe such as Fort Drum, New York; Camp Casey, South Korea; Friedberg, Germany; Hurlburt Field, Florida; Osan Air Base, South Korea; Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii; Nellis AFB, Nevada; and Fort Carson, Colorado. He has also served deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom with both U.S. Army conventional and special operations units. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Chief Enlisted Manager for the 607th Air Support Operations Group, Osan AB, South Korea.
