Bomber Task Force Makes Quick Deployment to Saudi Arabia
A B-1B Lancer taxis down the runway at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., prior to taking off in support of a Bomber Task Force mission in the U.S. Central Command area of operations, Oct. 24, 2019. The unannounced arrival of the B-1 demonstrates the global strike capacity and ability of the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Global Strike Command to rapidly deploy forward and deliver precision-guided ordnance against any adversary. Bomber missions demonstrate the credibility of our forces to address a globe security environment that is more diverse and uncertain than at any other time in our history.
