UAD policy
The new Ellsworth policy, which went into effect Feb. 7, takes a more aggressive stance against people under the age of 21 who choose to drink illegally. As written, anyone caught drinking underage, anywhere (not just driving) will lose on-base driving privileges for at least four months. Military members will also be required to successfully complete the appropriate Air Force Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment program. Ellsworth Tax Center Open
Tax season can add stress to some, especially those new to the process, but Ellsworth offers a solution for retirees, civilians and servicemembers (staff sergeants and below). Free tax services are available on base Jan. 28 through April 30. Twenty-two volunteers are trained and ready to provide assistance with forms 1040 EZ and 1040 A with schedules 1, 2 and 3; Form 1040 with schedule A, B, EIC and R; Form 1040 V, Form 1040 - ES, Form 2441, child and dependent care credit; Form 8863, education credits; and Form 8812, additional child tax credit.
