Pharmacy services are available to active-duty members, retirees and family members. The 28th MDG pharmacy is the most affordable option available -- it's free. Carrying many brand name and generic medicines, the pharmacy can usually fill prescriptions within 25 minutes.

If the pharmacy does not carry what you or your family member needs, network pharmacies (Walgreens is not a network pharmacy) may be utilized with a minimal co-pay of $5 for 30 days of generic medications, $17 for 30 days of brand name medications, or $44 for certain non-formulary or brand name medications.

Another option for family members is the TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy Program that provides up to a 90 day supply of medication for one co-pay (generics are $0).
