Ellsworth Airman Dies

An active-duty Airman assigned to the 28th Bomb Wing was found dead at his off-base residence Jan. 22, 2017.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Airman’s family,” said Col. Gentry Boswell, commander of the 28th BW. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our fellow Airman, and we are focused on helping the family and those affected by this tragedy.”
