Legal Office hours of operation change June 3 Published May 28, 2013 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Bomb Wing Legal Office is changing its legal assistance hours of operation in an effort to better serve their customers, effective June 3. Their new hours are: Walk-In Powers of Attorney and Notarizations Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-In Legal Assistance Monday from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Will Appointments Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. The 28th BW Legal Office provides legal advice and assistance on personal civil matters to military members, retirees and dependent family members. Legal assistance services include, but are not limited to, producing wills and powers of attorney, notarizing documents, providing attorney advice on landlord-tenant issues, domestic relations and consumer law and providing tax assistance. Eligible clients can visit the Air Force Legal Assistance web site - https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil - which provides basic information on a variety of legal topics, as well as a means to input information used to generate wills and powers of attorney. Once a client fills out a will worksheet on the website and receives a ticket number, they can schedule an appointment by calling the Legal Office at (605) 385-2329. For all other documents, clients should write down their ticket number and go to the Legal Office located in the Rushmore Center Suite 2700 to get their documents printed and notarized.
