QUESTION 

Sir,
This is the first base I have been stationed at that does not have extended hours for child care during base exercises and inspections. Is there a justifiable reason the Child Development Center and Youth Center are not opened to provide care for members that are working 12 hour shifts.

Ellsworth does provide extended day care during exercises and inspections. It is called the Extended Child Care program and is operated through the Family Child Care office.
