Handicap Parking Violation

QUESTION
Col. Weatherington,
In the course of my duties as a civilian contractor on Ellsworth I have to inspect a building near ALS. For the past week there has been a large pickup truck parked in the Handicapped Space at ALS. This vehicle is NOT showing the license plate, or the hanging placard for the use of the space.
In my mind that shows a complete disregard for this CLEARLY marked space. It also leads me to believe the Trainers at the Airman's Leadership School are not policing their trainees or their area of charge. I have not seen a ticket on the windshield either, which leads me to believe that base Security members are not checking that area.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Just publishing this letter may cause the affect needed to correct this problem.

  RESPONSE
Thanks for your concern; we identified the individual and directed they no longer park in this space. I asked our ALS instructors to continue to monitor the area and inform everyone who works in the facility of the policy.
