QUESTION 
I'm not sure if there is any recapitalization in this idea but I was curious if anyone has looked into pulling up all of the old train tracks on base to sell it for scrap iron.

RESPONSE Yes, our Civil Engineers have looked into this in the past. We have been able to selectively salvage the rail on projects which require removal of entire sections of track, however a large scale salvage of unused rail lines is not economically viable at this time. The Civil Engineer Asset Management Flight will continue to explore opportunities to salvage the old railroad tracks in the future.
