Do you have a fitness assessment coming up and worry about the run? Unable to shed off even just a few seconds? Are you not seeing results? You aren't the first, and help is right around the corner.

According to Geri Seal, 28th Medical Operations Squadron health promotion program manager, Airmen are failing their tests more often than she would like to see, and a lot of times only by a few seconds. Seal says she is hoping that with the running clinic she will be able to help Airmen not only shed off those few seconds, but shed minutes with the tips and tricks she teaches.

The running clinic is a place for Airmen to relearn the basics of a fitness program. In the hourlong class, you will learn everything from how organs in the body affect cardiovascular fitness to wearing the proper footwear. Airmen also have an opportunity to schedule a gait analysis to determine what areas in their form need improvement.

If interested in the running clinic, call Seal at (675) 385-6250, or visit the Health and Readiness Center to set up an appointment.
