7/29/2011 - ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The Commander's Action Line is a forum for the Ellsworth community to make suggestions or voice concerns about Ellsworth directly to Col. Mark Weatherington, 28th Bomb Wing commander. Below, he responds to a concern in regard to the ACC Emergency Notification System.

My question is about the ACC Emergency Notification System. During the winter months the system was upgraded to include the definition of the current situation and what to do. This has not been done for the other alerts.

Limitations of the AtHoc system do not permit display of the complete Heat Stress Category tables in the AtHoc pop-up message. We've added the information in text form in the pop-up message--just click the scroll bar on the pop-up massage to read the information in its entirety.
