ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Medical Group will showcase their members, accomplishments and efforts to support the health and wellness of the Air Force family during the Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC) 52nd anniversary week beginning Jan. 23, 2017.
The BSC’s mission is to enhance Air Force combat capability and effectiveness by providing world-class customer service and scientific expertise, resulting in peak force performance, productivity and quality healthcare to our beneficiary population.
The BSC is comprised of 17 different specialties, each with different degree, licensing and certification requirements that constitute a cohesive group of professionals in the Air Force.
Throughout the week, the 28th MDG will host special events, tours, services and luncheons focused on the BSC theme of “United in the Mission,” and culminating the event with a call to service at the Cornerstone Rescue Mission where members will work together to prepare and serve meals.
