The 28th Medical Operations Squadron bioenvironmental engineering flight (BEF) conducted an indoor air quality assessment inside the Pride Hangar during the month of January 2017.

The assessment consisted of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, relative humidity, volatile organic compounds and temperature monitoring as well as a review of the asbestos containing material (ACM) registrar installation.

The ambient conditions in the Pride Hangar are within acceptable ranges as outlined by both the Occupational Safety and Health Association and Bioenvironmental Engineering Technical Guide. After consulting the installation ACM registrar as well as Air Force Instruction 36-2905, Fitness Program, the BEF deems the Pride Hangar to be safe for general occupancy and suitable for fitness assessments.
