ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Munitions Squadron will conduct a 100 percent munitions semi-annual inventory March 14 through March 16, in accordance with Air Force Instruction 21-201, “Management and Maintenance of Non-Nuclear Munitions.”
All munitions stockpile items will be frozen during this period for accountability. Munitions users must schedule appropriately to ensure all munitions transactions are completed by 6 a.m. on March 16, or scheduled after March 17.
Only emergency issue requests, submitted in writing and approved by the 28th Maintenance Group commander, will be accepted during the inventory. This inventory is confined within the Munitions Storage Area and will not interfere with other base operations.
