ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Bomb Wing will conduct an exercise June 6 to 7, potentially impacting entering and exiting the installation.
Base and area residents may hear announcements over the “giant voice” system and sirens. Residents may also see smoke and increased movement of response vehicles.
This exercise is not being held in response to any specific threat. Exercises are regularly scheduled to evaluate the base’s response and recovery capabilities.
Everyone is encourage to call in advance to ensure appointments and services are not impacted.
