Ellsworth Air Force Base S.D. -- Ellsworth Airmen from the 28th Civil Engineer Squadron teamed up with South Dakota National Guard soldiers to conduct urban operation training exercises June 19, at West Camp, South Dakota.
The training included urban tactics such as troop movement, breaching and clearing buildings and ground assaults.
“It was a great experience I would recommend to everyone,” said Airman 1st Class Daniel Worth, a pavement and equipment journeyman assigned to the 28th CES. “It makes me feel a lot more confident I’ll be prepared when I deploy”
The training was part of exercise Golden Coyote, which involved 25 military units from 14 states, and two foreign nations.
