ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- A B-1 from the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, is scheduled to make special appearances at four events in South Dakota July 4.
The events include:
-- 10 a.m.: Patriots Parade, Custer, South Dakota
-- 10:30 a.m.: Independence Day Parade, Belle Fourche, South Dakota
-- 11 a.m.: Gold Pan Days, Lead/Deadwood, South Dakota
-- Noon.: July 4th Celebration, Spearfish, South Dakota
The B-1 flyovers are allowed as part of an approved training mission. Residents living in and around those communities could experience an increased noise level related to the flyovers. Times for the flyovers are approximate.
