ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- Lincoln Drive will be closed to all traffic Nov. 6-20, 2017.
The closure is in response to a project replacing aging sewer piping near the Child Development Center and Family Camp.
This plan has been coordinated with the 28th Medical Group, 28th Security Forces Squadron, Base Housing, Fire Department, and 28th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 28th Civil Engineer Squadron.
School bus routes will not be affected and local access to the CDC will be via Washington Avenue. Security Forces will be monitoring Lincoln Drive to ensure commuter safety near the construction site.
