The 28th Force Support Squadron provided an opportunity for servicemembers and civilian co-workers to exchange gift baskets and show their appreciation for each other in celebration of Administrative Professionals Day, April 24, 2013.

Administrative Professionals Day recognizes the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals.

"We started doing gift baskets this year for Valentines Day, and that turned out so well, we figured we would do gift baskets for Administrative Professionals Day," said Mallory Baldwin, 28th FSS commercial sponsorship coordinator.

People were given the option to purchase a gift basket filled with office supplies including notepads, a task list pad and pens or a spa treatment basket that had facial treatment supplies, a bath sponge and tea packets in it -- for those wanting to give their coworkers a more rejuvenating gift.

"We just wanted to provide a way for people on base to be able to show their appreciation for their co-workers," Baldwin said. "It's a nice little gesture that I think people would appreciate."
