MUNS to conduct inventory March 4 to 6

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Munitions Squadron will close its warehouse to conduct a semi-annual 100 percent inventory, March 4 to 6.

Inventories such as this are conducted to ensure that munitions users throughout the wing have full accountability of critical assets and are in accordance with all applicable regulations. Munitions users will ensure all issued items, turn-ins and transactions requiring munitions movements or combat ammunition system documentation are completed before March 1, at 1 p.m. After this date, only emergency issues accompanied by an emergency request letter approved by the 28th Maintenance Group commander, will be accepted.
