QUESTION

I have a concern. Today a friend of mine and I were at the BX for lunch and it took us nearly 30 minutes of waiting before we made it the respective order windows to place our orders. She ordered from Charlie's Subs and I ordered from the pizza place. And, Burger King had lines stretching over to Sentinel Credit Union. I had to wait while the lady at the pizza place made 3 pizzas and placed them in the oven. There were only 2 employees at Charlie's taking orders, cooking, and preparing the orders.
Who is in charge of making sure that these food places have enough help? This is not the first time this has happened. Some folks actually walked out because the lines were so long and, I assume they had to eat and go back to work.

Thank you.

  RESPONSE

AAFES is a key base partner and makes every effort to staff these operations adequately to meet the customer demand. On the day you visited, two food service workers could not come to work as scheduled due to personal property damage from the wind storm. AAFES adjusted with personnel from other areas as soon as possible and regrets the lengthy delay in providing service. We have passed your concern on to the AAFES management team. There is also a customer relations area on the AAFES website and an online comment form at: http://www.shopmyexchange.com/CustomerService/Feedback.aspx if you would like to provide additional feedback.
