Active-duty Airmen and their spouses are invited to attend the 28th Bomb Wing Chapel's Marriage Care Retreat at the Lodge at Palmer Gulch, Aug. 24 through 26.

"It's a reconnection," said Staff Sgt. Christopher Flavin, 28th Bomb Wing chaplain assistant. "We lead busy lives, and this forces you to slow down and get back to the roots of your marriage."

The cost is $20 per couple - which includes an upgraded room, meals and activities such as horseback riding, miniature golf, water-based activities and more. Five mandatory sessions, such as "I take you" and "For better or for worse," will also be held.

"It's about the vows you made, and why you made them," Flavin said.

Couples will receive a refund of their $20 registration fee at the start of the retreat.
