Box Elder to host National Night Out

The Box Elder Police Department will host the city's Third Annual National Night Out at the Box Elder City Hall complex and Douglas High School at 6 p.m., Aug. 7.

The free event will feature police and rescue vehicle displays, K-9 and weapons demonstrations from the 28th Security Forces Squadron, as well as disaster preparedness training and information from Pennington County Emergency Management.

The event will conclude with a fireworks display at dusk.
