Airmen required to have written, maintained family care plans Published May 1, 2012 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- According to Air Force Instruction 36-2908, Family Care Plans, single parents, dual-military couples with family members, and members with civilian spouses who have a unique family situation are required to develop a written family care plan to be maintained by their squadron commander or first sergeant. Airmen who fall into one of these categories must contact their first sergeant for more guidance and ensure the plans are completed.
