Airmen receive punishment

Senior Airman Alejandro Gonzalez, 28th Security Forces Squadron, pled not guilty March 7 to possessing one or more visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. After a four-day trial, a court consisting of officer members found him guilty as charged. His punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman basic, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement for 10 months and a bad conduct discharge.

Airman First Class Matthew Hebert, 28th Civil Engineer Squadron, pled not guilty April 2 to possessing one or more visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit activities. After a three-day trial, a court consisting of military judge alone found him guilty as charged. His punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman basic, confinement for nine months and a bad conduct discharge. Additionally, by operation of law, because of the adjudged sentence, he will forfeit all pay and allowances while in confinement.
