The attached article was in Govexe.com. Shouldn't the civilian workforce hear this from our leadership rather than an outside news group? This is a good example of why federal workers feel so "left in the dark". Will something be coming out from CPO on this additional round of cuts soon?

In a 24 hour news cycle environment, outside news groups can break stories faster than we have an opportunity to push out credible information to our workforce. The Civilian Personnel Office has been working with HQ ACC on specific details in the next round of potential VERA/VSIP offerings and will update the civilian workforce when they have credible and accurate information. What I don't want to do is get in front of everyone with inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. As in the past rounds, I will ensure we have the experts available to assist and answer questions at town hall meetings and through other means. You should contact the civilian personnel office with specific questions about civilian workforce issues.
