LeMay Boulevard closed March 16-27 Published March 16, 2012 By 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- LeMay Boulevard on base will be closed March 16-27 while two railroad crossings are being removed. Traffic detour signs will be posted to route motorists. The closure will impact traffic to the bomb squadrons, maintenance squadrons, Pride Hangar, fire department, 28th Operations Group Base Ops building and other facilities in those areas. Everyone should allow extra time in their schedules when traveling in that area while the road is closed. For a map of the construction area, click here.
