2012 Caring for People Forum slated for April 4 Published March 16, 2012 By Airman Hrair H. Palyan 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 2012 Caring for People Forum, a working group comprised of a demographic cross-section of the base community meeting to discuss topics relevant to Ellsworth, is slated for April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Rushmore Center. Members of the base community will meet to identify, develop and prioritize issues that affect their personal and professional lives. The CFPF also provides installation commanders valuable and timely information on issues that directly impact the quality of life of Airmen and their families. Areas to be covered include: · Family support · Spouse communication · School support · Health and wellness · Single Airmen support · Special needs family member support · Deployment support Other topics brought up during the forum will be considered and discussed, according to Angela Winchester, Airmen and Family Services flight chief. At the end of the forum, participants will vote on and forward the top 10 issues that cannot be resolved at installation level. These issues will be elevated to Air Combat Command where a similar review and prioritization process will be conducted. Military members, their families and civilian employees are highly encouraged to participate in the working groups.
