The Air Force Assistance Fund is kicking off its 39th year of "Airmen Helping Airmen."

During the campaign, which runs Feb. 6 through March 16, Airmen can donate to the Air Force Aid Society, the Air Force Enlisted Village, the Air Force Village and the General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation.

All of these charities give back to active-duty Airmen, veterans and their spouses. Additionally, these organizations do not solicit through the Combined Federal Campaign.
The overall campaign goal this year for Ellsworth is approximately $580,000 in donations, according to Senior Master Sgt. Martin Massey of the 28th Maintenance Squadron who is the alternate AFAF project officer for the base. The goal is to accomplish this not by Airmen giving more, but by more Airmen giving to help their Air Force family.

For more information on how to donate, call Massey at 385-6805, or 1st Lt. Daniel McCready, 37th Bomb Squadron, at 385-4043.
