28th Munitions Squadron to conduct 100 percent inventory

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Munitions Squadron will close its warehouse to conduct a semi-annual 100 percent inventory, March 1 to 14.

100 percent inventories are conducted to ensure that munitions users throughout the wing have full accountability of critical assets and are in accordance with all applicable regulations. Munitions users will secure all issues, turn-ins and transactions requiring munitions movements or Combat Ammunition System documentation are completed before close of business, Feb. 29. After this date, only emergency issues accompanied by an emergency request letter, approved by the 28th Maintenance Group commander, will be accepted.
