Walgreens pharmacies no longer part of Tricare network Published Jan. 4, 2012 ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- Walgreens pharmacies is no longer part of the Tricare retail pharmacy network effective Jan. 1, 2012. If beneficiaries filled a prescription at Walgreens after Dec. 31, 2011, they will pay 100 percent of the cost and will need to file a paper claim for non-network benefit reimbursement (with a higher cost share). Beneficiary alerts and information are posted in red on the Tricare retail network pharmacies in the local area, move their prescriptions to another pharmacy, convert to home delivery or request other assistance.
