Eligible Airmen and their family members may now pick up their pre-printed PLAYpass cards at the Airman and Family Readiness Center.

The PLAYpass program, which began June 1 and replaces the Year of the Air Force Family's DePLAYment program, offers discount cards featuring specific dollar value coupon blocks of more than $500 to be applied at specific 28th Force Support Squadron locations.

"With the PLAYpass card, single Airmen returning from a deployment and deployment-affected Air Force family members affected by deployments are eligible to participate in 28th FSS programs at no cost or at a reduced cost," said Carrie Brewer, 28th FSS marketing director. "The PLAYpass card program has been expanded in continuing efforts to build a resilient force by helping to ease the strain of deployment."

Base organizations offering discounts include the base child daycare center and Outdoor Recreation.  Coupons covering a percentage of the cost may be applied to special events, including an upcoming horseback riding trip, sponsored by Outdoor Recreation, June 12 at Blue Bell Stables in Custer, S.D.
