The Dakota's Club hosted an indoor family fun event open to Ellsworth children and their parents, April 29.

The event was designed to celebrate the coming of summer vacation for school-age children.

"We wanted to give families a fun place to come and kick off the summer," said LaTisha Ealy, 28th Force Support Squadron Black Hills Community Center program director. "It's a day where parents can relax and bond with their children, while having fun."

The event featured an inflatable jumping castle, a ping pong table, arts and crafts geared toward children and food provided by the club. The parents were even able to participate in all the attractions with their children.

"It's a lot of fun," said Kristylee Benner, wife of Senior Airman Dave Benner, 28th Munitions Squadron control technician. "Dakota's has gone out of its way to provide a safe environment for kids to play in. It's been a great opportunity for my children and I to meet new friends and have a great time."
