Results of recent courts held on base revealed to public

The 28th Bomb Wing Judge Advocate released the verdicts for several Airmen who underwent courts martial proceedings, Feb. 17-24.

Airman 1st Class Timothy Helms, 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, pled not guilty to use of cocaine and heroin, Feb. 17. A panel of officers found him guilty of both offenses and sentenced him to a bad conduct discharge, Feb. 18.

Airman John Hagen, 28th Maintenance Squadron, pled guilty, Feb. 21, to charges of a false official statement, distribution of marijuana, introduction of marijuana onto the base and use of marijuana, all on multiple occasions. A military judge sentenced him to a demotion to E-1, 75 days of confinement and a bad conduct discharge.

Airman Basic Jose Santana-Pena, 28th Medical Operations Squadron, pled guilty, Feb. 22, to using Oxycodone, but not guilty to distributing five other drugs and committing perjury. A panel of officers found him guilty of distributing Percocet and Diazepam and guilty of committing perjury, Feb. 23. Airman Santana-Pena was sentenced to two years confinement, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and a bad conduct discharge, Feb. 24.

Senior Airman Joshua McCurry, Air Force Financial Services Center, pled guilty, Feb. 24, to leaving his place of duty and a false official statement, both on multiple occasions over a three-month period. A military judge sentenced him to a reprimand, reduction to E-3, 45 days confinement, 45 days restriction to base and three months hard labor without confinement.
