Ceremony honors local combat heroes
(Middle)Retired Lt. Harold Thune of the U.S. Navy thanks the induction committee during the South Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame ceremony held at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum, August 20. Lieutenant Thune flew more than 50 combat missions from the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Intrepid in the Pacific Theater during World War ll.
