2009 "Instant Payback" Club Membership Campaign kicks off Published June 17, 2009 By Airman 1st Class Abigail Klein 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- In an effort to introduce more Air Force members to the benefits of being part of base clubs, the Air Force Services Agency recently kicked-off its 2009 Instant Payback Club Membership Campaign. Part of the campaign, any Ellsworth member who joins Dakota's Club between June 15 and August 15 will receive benefits not normally offered to first-time applicants. "The decision to provide this campaign, which is open to all active duty, reserve, civilian and retiree eligible non-members, was motivated by a desire to increase club membership, inform the Ellsworth community about the benefits of club membership, educate eligible non-members about Dakota's Club activities," said 1st Lt. Adam Baker, Sustainment Services Flight commander. Along with the traditional benefits that accompany a Dakota's Club membership (discounts at Ellsworth facilities, a Bellamy Fitness Center gym locker and free admission to all club events and dinners) new members will receive three months of free club dues, a free cash back rewards program and a six-month zero percent introductory annual percentage rate. As an additional bonus, 200 members will be randomly selected to receive $250 if they register through the on-line survey at www.afclubs.net. The membership card also provides benefits including the "Military Free Cash" rewards program. This program allows members to use their club membership cards at any Ellsworth service activity, and the opportunity to earn two percent cash back on eligible purchases from a services activity, Army Air Force Exchange Service or at the Ellsworth Commissary. Members can even redeem their points for travel, airline tickets, hotels and car rentals. The other benefits traditionally associated with becoming a club member are also another reason to consider joining. "[Dakota's Club] membership is important because it not only helps support the club, it also helps members save money while also promoting unity in the Air Force," said Jessica Elsass, 28 FSS Marketing Visual Information Specialist. Any member interested in receiving a club membership can visit the Ellsworth Services Web site at www.ellsworthservices.com under the "Club" tab, or pick-up a brochure at an service location including the Bellamy Fitness Center, Youth Center or the Black Hills Center.
