CCAF students graduate

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- Fifty-four Community College of the Air Force Associate degrees were presented to Ellsworth personnel during a graduation ceremony held at the Dakota's Club, May 7.

During the ceremony, four awards were presented to top CCAF graduates.

The Air Force Association awarded two $400 Pitsenbarger Awards to Tech. Sgt. Fawn Runs After, 28th Logistics Readiness Squadron Mobility Readiness Spares Packages NCO in charge, and Airman 1st Class Austin Walker, 28th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter. In addition, an award of $150 was given by the Ellsworth's Top 3 Association to Tech. Sgt. James Herron, 372nd Training Squadron Detachment B-1 crew chief instructor, and an award of $100 was given by the Air Force Sergeants Association to Staff Sgt. Kory Lindsey, 28th Operations Support Squadron Air Traffic Control journeyman.

CCAF is the largest accredited community college in the United States. To date, there have
been more than 335,000 degrees awarded since its inception in 1972.
