Ellsworth begins tax assistance program

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- This year's tax assistance program at Ellsworth is scheduled to open Jan. 23 at the base legal office. Appointment scheduling will begin Jan. 19, with the first available appointments set for Jan. 26. Electronic filing is available and all services are provided free of charge.

Each organization has a designated Unit Tax Advisor available to assist in answering any questions. To schedule an appointment, call the legal office at (605) 385-2329.

Appointment scheduling times during this tax season are as follows:

Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday evenings, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Dorm Residents "Tax Buster Day," Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Apr. 14, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
