Defense Secretary Gates delivers remarks to Airmen and women

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates delivered a speech June 9 to a crowd of nearly 400 members of Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base, Va. regarding the recent shift in Air Force top leadership.

The secretary will speak to about 500 Air Force Space Command members June 10 at Peterson AFB, Colo., and up to 2,000 people at Scott AFB, Ill., headquarters of Air Mobility Command.
