Flood related road closures, caution areas

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The recent increase in rain fall has resulted in flooding in several areas, as rain continues, please visit this Web site or call 385-7623 (ROAD) for updated information.

On-base road closures:
Spaatz Drive between Ellsworth Drive and Twining Street
Keystone Avenue
Belle Fourche Avenue
Scott Drive between Ellsworth and Centennial drives
Intersection of Scott and Ellsworth drives

The following on-base roads are not closed, but are highly recommended to avoid:
Centennial Drive near the dog kennels
Dakota Drive between Norbeck and Borglum courts
Menuher Road up near the Riding Stables
Scott Drive south of Centennial Drive

Off-base road closures:
Country Road in Box Elder and Rapid City
155 Avenue in Box Elder
156 Avenue in Box Elder
159 Avenue in Box Elder

The following off-base roads are not closed, but are highly recommended to avoid (if there is significant water accumulation on the road, do not attempt to pass through):
Aspen
Cottonwood
Spruce
Enterprise
Intersection of Line Road and Cottonwood
