Ellsworth celebrates newest CCAF graduates Published April 25, 2008 By Marsha Taylor 28th Force Support Squadron Education Office ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- Fifty-six Community College of the Air Force associate degrees were awarded to Ellsworth personnel during a graduation ceremony held at the Dakota's Club April 25. At the ceremony, four awards were presented to top CCAF graduates. The Air Force Association awarded two $500 Pitsenbarger Awards to Tech Sgt. Patty Marchitello and Staff Sgt. Kenyada Lattimore. Next, the Top 3 Association awarded $150 to Senior Airman Jessica Forsberg. Finally, the Air Force Sergeants Association awarded $100 to Master Sgt. Kevin Gilbert. CCAF is the largest accredited community college in the United States. To date, there have been more than 317,000 degrees awarded since its inception in 1972.
