BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Tech. Sgt. Jason Kerkaert, one of the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron pavement and heavy equipment flight's Dirt Boyz, smoothes out the edge of a concrete pad on the flightline at Balad Air Base, Iraq, Feb. 6. The Dirt boyz, a name given to Airmen who execute concrete-related tasks, extended the pad by 10 feet to allow for more wing tip clearance during F-16 Fighting Falcon refueling efforts.
