What's your job title?
I am the 28th Operations Support Squadron superintendent.

Where are you from?
I am from Holmen, Wis.

What does your job entail?
I am responsible for all actions related to the daily operation of the squadron, which includes seven flights for a total of 161 military personnel. I also review enlisted performance reports, provide mentorship to company and field grade officers on enlisted matters and advise senior leadership on a wide range of issues.

What do you like about your job?
I like that everyday is different. Because of my role in the squadron, I get involved in many different things, and it changes from day to day.

What do you like about the Air Force?
I like that the Air Force allows people from diverse backgrounds to pull together as a team and get the mission done.

What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, hiking and mountain biking.

What's the most important advice you'd give a new Airman?
Be ready for change; the Air Force continually grows and changes, and it's an Airman's responsibility to keep up with it.

What are you proud of?
I am proud of the satisfaction I get when I am able to help or cause a positive effect in someone's life through interaction and mentoring.

What always cheers you up?
My family always cheers me up. Just being with them can make any bad day go away.

What's your earliest memory?
It would probably have to be fishing with my grandparents when I was about four or five years old.

If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be, and what would you want to talk about?
I would speak to my grandfather about his time in World War II. I found out that my job in the Air Force (a radio operator) parallels with his duties during the war.

What is your favorite food?
Spaghetti is my favorite food.

What is your favorite TV show?
"Two and a Half Men" is one of my favorites.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
It would have to be lying. People without integrity and who don't own up to their mistakes stand out as one of my biggest pet peeves.

If you won a million dollars, how would you use it?
I would pay off all of my bills, invest and share it with my family.
