Bombers unite
During Ellsworth's Open House June 23, 2007, a 28th Bomb Wing Ellsworth Air Force Base B-1 joined with a 5th Bomb Wing Minot Air Force Base B-52 and a 509th Bomb Wing Whiteman Air Force Base B-2 for a dissimilar formation flight of the Air Forces' elite bomber force.
