A big 'Thanks" Kudos to wing from CES commander Published Jan. 31, 2006 By Lt. Col. Navnit Singh ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, SD -- On behalf of the men and women of the 28th Civil Engineer Squadron, thank you to all members of the 28th Bomb Wing for your outstanding support during the preparation and execution for the Air Force Curtin Award (Best Civil Engineer Squadron) validation team visit Jan. 6. The assistance provided from across this wing to our squadron was superb. Every request for support was met, and every expectation was exceeded. From arranging distinguished visitors’ quarters at lodging, and providing vehicle support, to crew chiefs and aircrew on 90 row, to wing leadership participation — every level of this wing contributed to our performance. Our 2005 was a very productive and successful year due to the hard work of the men and women of the squadron, but we know that the work wouldn’t be required if we didn’t have a mission and other units relying upon our expertise. We’ll continue to strive to be the best civil engineer squadron in 2006 and do our part to put jets in the air, bombs on target and keep this base functioning as a world-class power projection platform. Engineers lead the way!
