Team Ellsworth kicked off the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign with a special event at the Bandit Lanes bowling facility March 31.

Ellsworth has set a goal to raise $36,733 from March 15 to April 23.

The AFAF raises money for four charities that support Airmen, Guardians and their families including the Air Force Enlisted Village, the General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation, the Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation, and the Air Force Aid Society.

“Though there are thousands of worthy charities to give to, this is the only official Department of the Air Force campaign that is for the Airmen and Guardians, by the Airmen and Guardians,” said Master Sgt. Angela Klippenstein, the 28th Force Support Squadron flight chief and base point of contact for the campaign.
