KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. --
U.S. Air Force Gen. Tim Ray, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, along with his spouse, Rhonda, visited Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, April 26-27, 2021.
During their visit, the Rays and his wife interacted with Team Kirtland members, learning about their ongoing mission readiness and sustainability during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The visit included a tour of several locations across the installation, including the Welcome Center, Airman Leadership School, 377th Medical Group, Innovation Lab and the 377th Security Forces Group Heritage Room.
“I am so proud of Team Kirtland,” Ray said. “Day in and day out, the larger Striker team of Airmen, civilians, contractors and mission partners across the base and great city of Albuquerque continue to ensure the United States Air Force remains ready for anything and poised for the future. Throughout my time in Global Strike Command, Kirtland continues to shine, remaining an important part of the command.”
The Rays concluded their visit with a tour of the B-29 crash site before departing KAFB.
