ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, SD. -- Maj. Gen. Andrew Gebara, 8th Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Steve Cenov 8th Air Force command chief and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center senior enlisted leader, visited Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Oct. 17, 2022.

The pair stopped at agencies across the installation, where Airmen showcased the 28th Bomb Wing mission and how the wing is preparing for the new B-21 Raider.

“It is always a pleasure coming back to Ellsworth Air Force Base,” said Gebara. “Seeing all of the amazing work the 28th BW has done to prepare for the B-21 is truly impressive.”

Throughout the visit, Gebara and Cenov were able to participate in multiple demonstrations allowing them to gain a better understanding of Ellsworth’s contributions to the long-range strike mission and how Airmen across the wing are continuing to maintain readiness.

“Everyone here is supporting and creating innovative ideas on how to solve challenges around the Department of Defense,” said Cenov. “Be proud of that.”
