Extended flightline operations Published April 23, 2015 By 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. -- The 28th Bomb Wing will extend airfield operating hours on April 26, May 1 and 3 due to operations related to a Green Flag exercise. Normal airfield operations will be extended to include Sunday flying during this timeframe. Base residents and the surrounding communities can expect to hear noises associated with flying aircraft and maintenance activities.
