Kevin B. Kennedy, 28th Bomb Wing commander, approved findings and sentences in the following cases: During a summary court-martial, Senior Airman Joshua Aitken, 28th Munitions Squadron, pled guilty to one charge and one specification of wrongful use of marijuana. The court-martial officer sentenced him to reduction to the grade of airman basic and 30 days confinement. During a summary court-martial, Airman 1st Class Alexander Fatcheric, 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, pled guilty to one charge with one specification of failure to obey a lawful order for violating a no-contact order, one specification of dereliction of duty for having visitors under 18 years of age in his dormitory and one charge and one specification of disorderly conduct. The court-martial officer sentenced Fatcheric to reduction to the grade of airman basic, forfeiture of $500 for one month, and 30 days confinement. During a summary court-martial, Senior Airman Joseph Parks, 28th AMXS, pled guilty to one charge and one specification of wrongful use of marijuana, and one charge and one specification of misprision of a serious offense by voluntarily disclaiming knowledge about an offense to his command. The court-martial officer sentenced him to reduction to the grade of airman basic and 14 days confinement. All members of the Armed Forces are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The UCMJ lists a number of criminal offences. A member who commits one of these offences is subject to trial by court-martial. The rules and procedures for court-martial administration are governed by Air Force Instruction 51-201, "Administration of Military Justice."
